A full ACLS provider course in 1 day! Designed for us Islanders who don't want to spend 2 days indoors, this full ACLS Provider course (normally 2 days) is condensed into 1 day (approx 11 hours) .
Course description:Heart and Stroke certified 2 day course (condensed into 1 day) is where you will learn the next level of providing care in cardiovascular emergencies. This course includes advanced rhythm recognition, drug administration, and team dynamics to improve outcomes in cardiac emergencies.
Pre-requisites: Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support Certificate (CPR C) holder within the past year. We offer BLS certification during the same day of your ACLS course at no extra cost to cover this requirement.
If you are wanting to take the ACLS Class for the first time you must complete the mandatory precourse Self-Assessment found at: https://resuscitation.heartandstroke.ca/
Please note the student Fee Does Not include Course ACLS Provider Manual or the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Manual, both of which are mandatory. Please see our registration page for purchasing.
NOTE: Upon registration and payment, a welcome letter will be sent to you via email and will include other course materials and a pre-course study guide. Students can still use 2010 ACLS manuals and download manuals changes to reflect 2015 guideline.
